What an amazing collection of eggs.  They were all eggcellent!

2nd March 2023 - World Book Day!
We have had a fantastic time during World Book Day today in Year 3! We enjoyed seeing all of the wonderful costumes, we shared our favourite books, we had a look at the World Book Day website and books which we could buy with our tokens, we watched the World Book Day Live Lesson and we made our own bookmarks! What a busy morning! Great work Year 3 and keep reading!

Three children from our class dressed up as characters from our class text Pugs of the Frozen North.

17th February - Bikeability

Today Year 3 and 4 had great fun doing their Level 1 Bikeability Training.  Through fun games the children now know how to master control of their cycle in preparation for cycling more off-road. They also know how to: Apply brakes to bring their cycle to a smooth and quick stop, Look behind over each shoulder while pedalling in a straight line, Pedal one handed in a straight line, Use gears, if their bike had them and avoid hazards. Well done to you all! We are very proud of each and every single one of you! A huge thank you to Holly and Samantha, our instructors too!

15th February - Time to React

Today Year 3 worked in pairs to test the speed of their reactions. Partner A dropped the ruler and Partner B had to catch it as quickly as they could! It was lots of fun and helped us to understand units of measurement linked to time. Well done Year 3!

7th February 2023 - Safer Internet Day!

To celebrate Safer Internet Day, Year 3 have been looking at Online Safety Scenarios and discussing what option they would choose. Well done to our class Digital Leaders for supporting your peers.  Have a look at our posters sharing what we want to talk about.
